Dynamic Seating and Positioning: Maximizing Functional Outcomes
This interactive program provides an overview of seating and positioning evaluation, discusses changes in rehabilitation and funding options and gives the learner an opportunity to discuss and apply seating solutions for common postural asymmetries. Participants will learn to use basic scientific and application principles when determining the most affective wheelchair support surface for their clients. Discussions will also revolve around the utilization of advanced technology in assisting the therapists and providers in selection of appropriate equipment. Hands on opportunity with new and challenging concepts make this a must for all therapists, providers and nurses who will be assessing and prescribing wheelchair seating systems.
